From Scaw’d Law, continued along fence line for a short distance, through gate & then S. by side of fence to vehicle track - SE & then S. along track; small summit cairn lies about 200 yd W. of track. Continued to Wedder Law. (S)gerrybowes02/05/2018
Fittingly from Durisdeer war memorial taking well made track up to just short of Glenleith Fell. Returned to track and followed to very near to Wedder Law before returning same way avoiding wet ground and angling up to Scaw'd Law from gate. Followed ridge to Ballencleuch Law with two minute stop at 11:00, then on to Rodger Law on ATV track. Bit of cross country from there to Comb Law descending to Meikle Shag and then over very wet ground to take the old Roman Road back to Durisdeer. The fort is very impressive.SS11/11/2017

From the war memorial at Durisdeer with Shaky. Followed same ascent route for the neighbouring hills from 4 months earlier: headed NE initially & then took the track winding generally E on to Durisdeer Rig with the view gradually opening up. At fence turned SE over Little Scawd Law to the 3 way fence junction then S over Scawd Law & on to Wedder Law & eventually Gana Hill. Walked back almost to summit of Wedder Law before taking track W & then SW branch 1 km later over Glenleith Fell. Headed directly SW to Kettleton Byre & then out on the track to Durisdeer. Excellent walk completed at dusk.NotReallyABagger26/12/2006
