On an afternoon walk from the coastpathPoolton12301/07/2017
Final Torbay tump. Good farm track running SE from layby parking on A379. HP seemed to be on the track just S of a junction. Went into field on E side track to look for a higher point but GPS giving 1m lower. ROC nuclear monitoring bunker supposedly demolished but signs of it found at the old stile marked private - keep out.jonglew11/07/2016
Track 20m S of junction appears to be natural HP. Gate into field to E with old stile in hedge bank to S with Keep Out sign: if any higher ground SE of track junction I was happy to just look down as very unfriendly scrub. My penultimate Torbay tump...RHW10/07/2016
Roadside parking at end of track north of summit. High point on track a few metres south of junction of tracks. Over hedge by two trees may be higher. Got through hedge a bit further south and found myself on a weird lawn leading to the trees. Seems to be maintained by a caravan dweller who might have taken exception to my presence if I had been seen.ijpowell28/07/2015
Along track from the north-west. Gap in hedge to get to what seemed to be the highest point in the field.Moorponder11/06/2013
