| Parked on verge near Shillingland triangle. Took voie normale up access road to farm, then ATV track curving steeply through bracken on R opposite wall and sheepfold. This leads at a steady gradient to the summit, with increasingly wide views. Returned by the ATV track running S near the wall until it reaches the road W of a cattle grid. | Solo trip. Preferred to park in a wee quarry a little to SE of Shillingland track. An attractive series of rock outcrops runs from Cats Craig northwards along a fine wall.
