| Repeat with L of our January 10 mile 3 Tump circuit from Feock, but this time taking 3 hours not 2 as we walked and talked and listened to our new favourite pod cast 'The Rest is Politics' with an analysis of Trumps 5 new inditements - the main one that he knowingly and repeatedly lied by spreading false information to try to overturn the 2020 election result and thereby conspired against the US constitution . Of course this has made him even more popular with his followers who buy into his mantra that the elite and establishment are out to get him -and has even strengthened his chance of being re-elected in 2024. | A lovely 2 hour, 10 mile run exploring with L from Feock on the 1st day of our pet-sit. Wonderful warm January sunshine - daffodils out! and the sun glinting off the sea - The Fal Ria -drowned river valleys caused by rising sea level when the glaciers melted - creating many twisting tidal creeks inland - I recall copying a map of it in school geography. Followed steep quiet lanes and creek shoreline footpaths - lined with old oak woodlands -all very beautiful and part of the Cornish Coast AONB. We linked 3 Tumps - summits all flat fields and 6 different creek heads - the best bits. Good views from here down the 4 mile length of the Fal Estauary (Carrick Roads) with the King Harry chain ferry just below making its endless short shuttle trips to and from the Roseland Peninsula. | Chris Pearson | 17/01/2023 |
