From Peninnis Head, made way back into town & after passing the Town Hall turned left into Garrison Lane - Followed Garrison Lene to its end & then S. along good tracks before turning right into the campsite - Headed across short grass to the approximate spot height location (SV 89805 10215) which looked good enough to me; banking around campsite is higher, but man-made.gerrybowes04/09/2023
After returning from St Martin's, a stroll over this Tump then a walk back along the battery walls walk.NormanW05/07/2022
From harbour after St Agnes visit.. Visited all contenders including battling through brambles and bracken to top of inner wall. More blood shed to reach a Scilly summit. Next to the summit of Rat Island. Then off to the upper terrace of the Atlantic for re-hydration.CJM04/07/2022

From the town, past the location of the smallest football league in the world. Initially went to campsite area but getting to HP was not going to be easy. Went back round to house and to flagpole. Later in week visited all the high points in castle.PeterD26/06/2017
