After failing to find a suitable landing spot on St Helen's, Tean was next and an easy landing on sand. Short walk up to hill summit, past ruined building with cut benchmark, the only BM in the OS dBase for Scilly not on an inhabited island. Extensive summit views to surrounding islands. ***Re-visited 7 Jul 2022 on a boat charter with the Kestrel. Same landing spot on S side of the island. | jonglew | 18/09/2014 |
