drove up forestry roads to within 1 km from top.robertphillips22/06/2016
I still have no idea if the highest point is on one side or the other, or on the firebreak itself. I didn't notice Rick/Doug's little cairn/arrow. I arrived along the break from Wide Hope Shank, then continued NE to the forest road and then the pleasant Cross Borders Drove Road. Maybe the break NNW from NT197456 could also have worked.Pete R12/03/2016
Simple trudge along forest roads then wide firebreak from car park on Meldon road.mae02/02/2016
From Wether Law, up to Wide Hope Shank col and along firebreak. Not really convinced that any of the points investigated in the trees are any higher than the SW point in the firebreak. With Colin, Rick, Jen, Alan and Douglas.agentmancuso18/08/2012
After Wether Law, w Colin, Rick, Alan, Bernie and Jenx. Up ATV/sheep tracks to col by White Hope Shank. To top area by wide forest ride, greasy mush of moss in places slippery! Summit indistinct, minor 'survey' w team and GPS revealed a point accessible inside trees, small wall cairn/ arrow now indicates location. Hot and steamy with plenty of mushrooms.Dugswell218/08/2012
