Parked on the road to the north at 39553 58953 then up a narrow path between numbers 91 and 93 and worked my way up to the ridge and along.clivevilla21/12/2022
Parked in the village of Banwell & then followed the PRoW which acends the N flank of the hill. Used the track which enters the summit wood at its SE corner to approach the woods & then the path along the summit ridge. Very quiet in the woods & quite eerie. WEe did the HP & visited the tower. Woods seem to be in use for pheasant rearing.DanMaisieBex19/03/2022

Parked in housing estate and walked up Hill Path. Fp blocked by padlocked gate with no explanation. Up and over and then into wood at bottom ne corner, up path and then along the summit ridge to large tower. Information sign has disappeared. Nice hill.Campbell Singer13/04/2019

Easy route up from Banwell village via the shortly named steep little road called 'Hill Path'then diagonally across Upper field to hate at left hand dude of wood. 20 metres on track then rusty old gate in left to climb over into the wood where path curves round left and along the crest over marked summit and on to fascinating monument whose mound even if artificial is highest ground.vegibagger01/08/2018

HP is at base of impressive, Victorian locked stone tower with woodland used for grouse breeding. Local farmer gave hesitant permission to enter. Not sure if base of tower is embanked over the natural HP or if this is nearby, east of tower on path. Free parking in carpark opposite school in Banwell village, then steep muddy path up. 13.5 m high, recently restored Tower apparently built 1840 as part of Victorian tourist attraction which includes Banwell Caves with ancient animal bones.Denise 10/03/2018
From the East. Banwell village car park by lane and field path to gain entry to woodland by gate on ridgeline. Various signs but it would appear access is tolerated if one keeps to the ridge line path, dont take dogs and keep a watchful eye for increased Adder activity. Earthy vehicle track reaches grassy mound with elegent stone tower (with securely locked door). Natural high point currently to E of tower though ground around tower may have been lowered to build the mound.RichardM10/03/2018

From west. Initially took track running along the north of the wood to avoid going through busy farm buildings with barking dogs. Then up through woods until I met the summit path to monument and then on to the summit grid ref.Herbert Anchovy18/10/2017

From car park in Banwell to both tumps. Same route as Dusty. Sign near monument says keep to Footpath, but other signs make it clear you are not welcome. Good view on ROw to East, but none at top.PeterD28/08/2016
From wnw, pass R of Caves then keep L on track leading to monument. Base of Mon may be higher than natural hp but is 3m man made mound. My final North Somerset tump on a fine spring pmRHW23/04/2016
From east. Up to memorial then through wood. Walked over jonglew's suggested highpoint to tower and returned same way.Dusty16/03/2016
From The Coach House where the Banwell Caves are sited. No public access, but seems permissive as signs ask for dogs to be kept on leads. HP seems to be about where the OS spot hight is, ie. approx 140m E of Banwell Tower on the FP.jonglew09/11/2014
