Must be one of the most popular Marilyns to climb - though most people up here wouldn't know what a Marilyn was! Everything was going swimmingly well till my wife slipped on the way down and fractured her arm. - not that we knew it was fractured till a few days later after having it x-rayed.Father Ted04/08/2018
Collecting suburban Tumps around Edinburgh so a quick revisit up here was certainly well in order. Before 8 in the morning and it was still v.busy, though to be expected really given that the Fringe Festival was on.Twice Shy03/08/2018

A rare sunny day in Edinburgh. A bit of snow lingering on the top of Arthur's Seat. Place was heaving with tourists fannying about trying to avoid the mud (some already covered head to toe in mud after a slip but still trying to avoid it - hint: keep off the grass). Views at top did not disappoint.NorthernWayfarer05/04/2018

Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Took a very long winded route to this as Sat Nav women sent me on a wild goose chase for a parking spot, even got a royal park warning notice!. I've been up before but before trig bagging, lovely day for a revisit but couldn't believe how busy it was. After waiting 10 minutes for a clear shot of the trig and helping people on and off as the rock is so polished I gave up and took one with people in it. Still a fab wee hill but very very busy.thejackrustles22/11/2015

Done countless times while a student in Edinburgh & living in Pollock Halls Of Residence. This date was roughly the first time. Done during the day, at night, drunk, hungover, whenever! The best ones were on Wenesday afternoons set aside for sports at Edinburgh University. My sport consisted of timed ascents from the back gate at Pollock & then straight up picking the sporting lines. Best time I ever managed was 12 minutes & 30 seconds, but then I was properly fit then! Only done once from the E via the gentle route.NotReallyABagger01/11/1982
