Parked at end of Corfe Lodge Road and walked around perimeter of reservoir. | PGCE | 04/11/2020 |
From car park to the North. Footpath to the reservoir then walked around perimeter. | fosal29 | 02/02/2020 |
Eventually parked at start of footpath running ESE. Track was almost a stream, but got drier for the last 200m to open top of the heath. | GordonAdshead | 10/01/2020 |
Rubbish bing next door will be slightly taller and probably more natural than the reservoir which I walk round but refused to climb over the security gates or fencing. | Dugswell2 | 06/05/2019 |
Short walk from parking to north. | rhalstead | 03/02/2019 |
Using bus number 3 got off to the north and ascended with the dog walkers to this nice top.
Good views of Poole and Holes Bay | ChinnockC | 15/11/2018 |
Walk with Anthony from the north, right round perimeter fence of reservoir. Sad no access to trig up on top of west end of reservoir. Someone has clearly cut the fence at some stage, on north side for three feet from the ground which couple of others had squeezed through while there was a hole there. It has been re-fixed together with plastic connectors. | vegibagger | 02/04/2018 |
Walked all around reservoir security fence and climbed neigbououring Beacon Hill 84m SY975 947 to see if that qualifies as a TuMP as the key col has been eaten into by the old clay pit. Col height uncertain as the contour lines at all map scales unhelpfully disappear as they approach the pit edge. In particular the 55 m contour stops as though its been eaten into at SY 984 950 I explored around this col on path through scratchy gorse and although it was dark I think the 55m contour should most likely continue uninterrupted and therefore Beacon Hill would not qualify. | Chris Pearson | 18/01/2017 |
Within a Wessex Water biodiversity site. Large covered reservoir of some vintage going by the amount of vegetation growing on it. Natural HP seemed to be to NW side of resr, by a pump house. Could only get 83m from GPS so suspect the 92m given on Hill-bagging is for top of resr by the trig pillar. | jonglew | 07/10/2015 |
flattish top. Rubbish tip to the East is now higher. | Adrian | 30/03/2014 |
also accessed trig via hole under fence | Denise | 29/03/2014 |
