Solo, continuing walk from Talla Cleuch Head, turned N at Cairn Law to ascend gentle slope to trig pillar. Descend by re-tracing to Cairn Law for lunch then further down to gate at 143210 and Megget Stone onto road to P above bridge over Talla Water. Considered continuing from BL to Cramalt Craig but v thick mist disuaded me. Mist eventually lifted at 700m with sun blinks. First visit was on 12/08/2006.jacobus24/05/2017

Parked in Layby by Heartstanes Metal Bridge - Over Tweed - Heartstanes - then the track to the summit - follows foot of Great Hill & Crooked Bank - ascends through cleared forestry then the grasslands beyond - Strangely captivating - broad Summit with red aggregate trig masts and aviation beacon. Sunny and blue but the wind finally encouraged us to leave.briandavies01/05/2017
