From A35 Layby to North, unfriendly signs to start but no issue and decent views from summit. | rhalstead | 19/04/2021 |
From car park to SSW. Took the track which resulted in a scramble up through gorse & bracken from the west. Once at the top found a easier track leading down. | fosal29 | 30/12/2019 |
With Jo, from car park to the SW. Weather; sunny with a light wind. | amblerbob | 22/09/2019 |
More very pleasant heathland with even a little scramble up the side to trig. From car park to SSW | Mark Sims | 28/03/2019 |
Walk up, jog down gingerly testing a long lay off after achillies tear. Dog walkers and mountain bikers on a sunny windy sunday morning with sweeping showers ever likely then over in two minutes for another blast of sunshine. | Chris Pearson | 10/03/2019 |
Climbed solo after rockpooling at Kimmeridge. Saw lots of Graylings and a Painted Lady. | Skerryvore | 23/08/2018 |

Steep and sandy hillfort in wareham forest | freethehilltops | 14/07/2017 |
Circular walk from Wareham having sailed from Lymington the previous day. Access not a problem. We made it to the summit despite the ambiguous forest sign to hill fort. Excellent panoramic view point, easy to understand its attraction as a hill fort. Lovely area of forest and heathland. | RichardM | 05/03/2016 |
From car park to SSW. HP at top of IA hill fort, approx 5m NE of trig pillar. | jonglew | 01/11/2015 |
