Read the very restrictive dress code in the golf club car park and clearly I wasn't able to comply, especially as wearing Bogs wellies. Decided to start from Wedmore instead and then broke the code by stepping off the RoW onto the fairway, without being ejected.Martin R14/02/2024

I thought 11th tee was higher but had a good walk around on a very wet afternoon, no golfers playing. walked up from Wedmorecjo22/12/2019
Ended up parking in Wedmore after parking a bit closer on Cheddar Rd but not seeing a suitable way up. Took FP up to mound by bunker then walked back between fairways over OS spot.fosal2907/10/2019

Parked in village of Wedmore and followed well marked muddy path uphill across field onto the golf course. I Presume all the golfers were avoiding the rain in the clubhouse! The natural high point is hard to discern due to an embankment by the 15 th tee but there are nice views .Denise 12/03/2018
Muddy foot path from Wedmore. Golf course completely deserted at 16:45. Hill top disturbed by golf course features so orignal high point hard to say. Current high point is grassy bank beside 15th Tee. Raised 11th Tee only slightly lower. Returned along the line of ridge top trees. Gloomy grey skies.RichardM12/03/2018
Parked in Wedmore free car parkand followed road to Wells and up through pasture.Ramblingpaul22/11/2017

From Wedmore along FP then up to near 14th Green, also came back via trees between the fairwaysPeterD09/12/2016
From village hall car park in Wedmore. FP along boundaries of cow pasture (very muddy) and golf course. HP between 14th green and 15th tee-off. Returned directly to Cheddar Rd to avoid another mudd-fest.jonglew23/12/2015
Followed footpath N from Wedmore to emerge on the golf course. The summit is on a tree planted ridge between two fairways - pick your spot - I'd go for it being near the gap in the transverse line of trees.Chris Peart02/02/2015
