As Minto, from Whitwell, but there was no problem with crops as there was a good field margin which wasn't overgrown. Nice viewpoint, better than expected. Fine weather, no sea mist coming on land, which had been a problem yesterday. With Pete | pwheeler | 13/06/2023 |
From the church in Whitwell. Where the mapped overgrown track branches left off the bridleway, there's now a path even more left, which goes up through the open woods. Might be difficult to access with a crop in the summit field. | Minto | 14/01/2023 |
Train, catamaran and bus to Bonchurch and then ascended the steep path to St Boniface down then using the coastal path (and a few diversions) in muddy terrain the Whitwell hill and St Catherine's hill for a lovely day in the cold wind. | Buck | 13/01/2023 |
