Managed to park in Knapp without obstructing then much as Denise (both tops), then back via Ampfield Wood (406244)- a bit of a random, make it up as I go route but nice open, sunny woodland there. Lovely area of mixed woodland. Not possible to park at North end of road where forest starts but possible in Knapp village eg at SU 405 236 by footpath junction. HP probably at Hawkers Fir Hill within pines but we also visited the somewhat overgrown Little Fir Hill to NE. | Denise | 27/04/2019 |
