Solo from layby across from the Buachaille car park. Followed WHW East until a gate and then took a wet path up by fenceline to the ridgeline where the now intermittent path took me up to Stob Beinn a'Chrùlaiste. Intermittent path from there up to the corbett summit and was at the top in 1h 18min. Very low cloud meant no summit views (and some moody partial views across to the Buachaille from Stob Beinn a'Chrùlaiste). Decided to retrace my steps back down - total time 2h 20min.mproudfoot11/02/2023

Parked by the little electricity substation on the no through road N of the King's House. Followed an intermittent path on the E side of Allt a'Bhaliach (preferable to the ATV track on the W side, unless you like mud), crossing and following the SE ridge to the summit of Beinn a'Chrulaiste. Snowfields made the circuit of Meall Bhalach and its E top pleasantly peat hag free, before descending to the Allt a'Bhalaich.Nick Down105/03/2022

With: hb; We parked by locked gate to Black Corries Lodge at the corner of the old road just north of Kings House. We followed the very wet track by Allt a'Bhalaich then at about 380m joined a very indistinct path up the east ridge to summit. It was heavy rain all day and the only views from the summit were of cloud. We descended by same route.Ian Baines05/06/2019
