Parked at Great Chart and rambled up the diverted brideleway.PhilipChaston08/05/2023
From point 64. The bridleway passing N of the summit has been redirected, but handly this actually takes it closer to the summit. This was the only one of the 9 Tumps visited today that actually required a decent walk.Mark Jackson07/01/2023

Ashford to Pluckley.Smudge07/01/2018
Tiptoed under a full moon just before midnight through the sleeping cows in barns, squeezed past a monster combined harvester and failed to let a sleeping dog lie. Followed ROW /concrete track for 15 minutes before gate and grass to the highpoint then back again. Traffic jam of lorries even gone midnight at Ashford due to Operation stack -Calais port closed so 5000 lorries parked up on the closed M20 and anywhere else they could squash off the surrounding roads. One lorry had toppled onto its side and was being righted by a huge mobile crane. Home at 1.30am having completed the Kent Tumps on Goldwell Hill... until discovery of Sandown Park tump.Chris Pearson01/07/2015
