End of two hour walk with Twiggy. Blustery and cold but an interesting spot.desperate dan09/12/2023
The slowest of upward shuffles up the simplest of hills due to very sore quad muscles, the day after a weekend charging around the mountains on the Bethesda OMM on Long Score with Darren. Going downhill was worse! A lovely coastal spot being an isolated small glacial moraine hillock with an excavated iron age stone roundhouse base and hut circles within an embankment on the part not yet eroded by the sea. Modern man will be leaving behind nearby such gems as the imprint of a caravan park, car park, and fish and chip shack. The archaeology Cherish project has been dating the sand deposits here using Optical Stimulated Luminescence to understand how coastal environments were shaped by the changing climate over the last 12,000 years. Dinas Dinlle has a large sand and pebble beach with vast areas of sand from mid-tide level.Chris Pearson30/10/2023

Sat in the camper van besides the cafe for an hour until the rain relented sufficiently to allow a peruse. A large fort site, much of which has slipped into the sea. Bag it whilst the rest remains!summitter25/06/2021

Shame it was too wet and windy to explore the hill properly. Wonder if the sea has beaten the missing trigpoint pillar into sand yet?Martin R24/03/2014
Trig pillar long gone. Hill fort has lost 1/3 of its area to the sea according to signboard.RHW23/03/2014
