Parked in the visitor centre and followed the path up Windy Hill, then the track to Creag Minnan and forged a path to The Heddies. A pleasant circuit made more fun by the imminent arrival of storm Jocelyn and the constant rain. Particularly boggy once I left Windy Hill. No one else about until I returned to the visitor centre.Buck22/01/2024

Windy Hill,Creag Minnan and The Heddies in a circuit from the Visitor Centre.Excellent visibility so much so that we spent more time looking at hills than walking.Merrick,Cruachan and Lawers and a host of others. Repeat for Creag Minnan after a climbing trip about 40 years ago.ARM27/03/2023
One of three Tumps from VC.lordtonult16/03/2022
After Craig Minnan, following faint tracks. Descended to the dam, but no way across, so headed north, and crossed river via the island in the big river loop away from the road. Onwards to Hill of Stake.Minto02/12/2021
From visitor's centre up the track to Windy Hill then on a further reasonable track to Craig Minnan, then sheep tracks through heather and bog to The Heddles and back via the dam.sclater17/11/2021
On a figure of 8 from Muirshiel CP, Hill Stake, Girt Hills, Misty Law down to Raith Burn, up track past dam then over lower top first. On to Craig Minnan and Windy Hill.PeterD15/10/2021

From Bridge of Weir by bike after The Law. Horrible road from the north with many very deep puddles. The road from the visitor centre however has been upgraded as part of the power line removal. Short bog trot required to typical grassy trap hilltopfasgadh15/08/2020
Across grass, heather and some boggy ground from Craig Minnan. Went over Little Craig Minnan on the way. Descended to the track back to the visitor's centre. A pleasant walk, having started up the path to Windy Hill.LizH30/06/2020
This hill blends so inconspicuously into the rest of the terrain I struggled to believe it was even a tump. Nice little bump nonetheless after Windy Hill and Craig Minnan - was hoping to see an adder but no luck!iangpark29/03/2020
Climbed in error ! On OMM with Darren. Poor concentration by me, as our similar hillock with control was 200m to west - luckily corrected and then an exhilarating, flat out km down to track and 'sprint' to Finish of Day 1, coming in perfectly (for once) at 4hrs 59m 11 secs of the 5 hours allowed on Short Score with a 50 point lead. Then to a very cold long overnight camp with our lightweight kit. Note to self: Warmer sleeping bag and no balloon beds next year! An unusual way to inadvertently bag my Tump no. 3333Chris Pearson26/10/2019
A bump in wet moorland. With Ben.hillsman20/08/2018
Dull lump from Muirsheil cp. Follow the main burn and head up NE. On to pleasanter Craig Minnan.Thearlaichdubh23/12/2017

3rd Hill of 8 today on a route from Muirshiel country park visitor centre to Wemyss Bay, climbing Windy Hill and Craig Minnan and then over another small outcrop to the summit. Nice feel to the atmosphere, a bit like a Western feel!Dazingdale23/09/2016
