We parked at the helipad car park and headed up Coire nan Lochan making a direct ascent upto Stob Coire nan Lochan. Stunning. Then we headed over to Bidean nam Bian. Interesting route with minor scrmbles and would need good navigation in cloud. We headed over to Stob Coire Sgreamhach and the descended via Bealach Dearg and the lost valley. A stunning walk on one of the best mountains you can get. Up the lost valley to Stob Coire Sgreamhach then constant brocken spectres all the way along to Bidean nam Bian over to Stob Coire nan Lochan for another brocken spectre before heading down Coire nan Lochan. An unforgettable day with brilliant views!Chris Mac17/11/2018

Unfinished business. 2 weeks ago, climbed to the ridge, but thick fog and poor navigation meant a near miss. Thanks to metoffice.gov.uk today was a brilliant climb in perfect conditions. CP at Achnambeithach (hidden off road and much quieter than others along the A82). Walk on the road over the bridge, over crash barrier and through metal gate to the start of an excellent track which climbs steeply above and eventually beside and over Allt Coire nam Beithach. Easy to cross in summer - might be challenging when river is in spate. Head SE at the ridge, over Stob Coire name Beith and beyond that to Bidean nam Bian. Very steep ascent and descent, but at 5.5 miles, quite a bit shorter than alternative (much busier routes).callumorr15/08/2016
