Parked at road end to NE in Cauldhame, through access gate across to fence then across wet ground and up to top. Back via cairn to north of topPeterD10/05/2023

This was A new Tump I spotted from plotting adventures back in 2016. Linked with Trondra in a proper Shetland December NW gale - on an 8 km (1.5 hr) circular run with L from our new 'home' on West Burra. Fantastic with the wind behind. Hideous when into numbing headwind especially when icy needle like rain showers hit us. Lost the ability to form words properly. Circled around to N and see more of how people live here -great views across to Scalloway. Ran down south to Burland where sits a fabulous looking eco-house complete with view. Followed the boggy coastal access path along the water's edge back to the Burra bridge - more bog than grass, but rewarded by another seal watching us. Pretty numb and 'done in' by time we collapsed into the warmth. Then a cup of tea, porridge and hot shower within 6 mins did the trick. Later watched from the lounge a trawler rolling through the crashing seas taking its fish on a 12 hour voyage around to Lerwick (only 8 miles by road)Chris Pearson22/12/2020
Parked at end of minor road at Cauldhame. Took gate and over field to easy fence. A bit of bog and then a pleasant walk on cropped heather.Campbell Singer21/06/2019
Solo. Easily parked car at end of road to Cauldhame. Through access gate at SE corner of turning area, across field to an ancient wall and closely parallel fence. There is a gap in the wall and the fence is easy to climb there. Then straight to the summit on easy ground, Back same way.pwbellarby19/06/2019

A nice walk with great views from Torgur. The cairn is not the top.Gill29/08/2018
Parked at end of the road to Cauldhame. Grassy track leads down to the bay, then straight up the hill side. A large, well-built cairn beckoned, but it's not the summit. Super views to Scalloway.jonglew29/08/2018
