A big day of 9 tops, parking at Broughton Moor Forest SD25699. Access issues reported by previous bagger seem to have subsided, no issues. The Hawk, The Knott, Lag Bank, Walna Scar, White Maiden, White Pike, High Pike Haw, Banks, Bracelet Moor. 25kms, 6 hours moving.Alfa1M24/02/2024

Long 11k walk in from Coniston only to be thwarted in final few meters by very extensive ongoing forestry works and a very blocked path. The area is like a war zone. Saw roe deer and half grown fawn amongst the ongoing devastationtrimarc220/09/2023
Parked in small carpark, followed path and then forest road. Cut up to the top through area of felled larch trees with much debris. Highlight was to see a badger walking a trail just below the summit - not often seen in daylight. Beware the road that continues north is narrow single track for miles with encroaching walls and very few passing places.JohnW09/05/2023

From the carpark at SD 253.927. Down the ride- passable, though windblown trees. On bridleway following the west Bank of the stream then onto forest track and easily across felled area.Moorponder31/12/2022

Parked at the small car park at SD 253 927, down through areas of the wind-blown trees to the forest road at SD 247 929, then south to The Hawk, retraced route took path on left up through wood and left along firebreak to The Knott, back to the path and from its terminus over open country to Lag Bank (Broughton Moor). Then behind the quarry, through deep wet bracken to High Pike Haw, and to the road with a quick revisit to Bracelet Moor. a round trip of 11km with 450m ascent, taking me 3.5 hours.silveracorn_alan18/09/2022
parked SD246921, footpath through wind blown trees, not difficult. Cross old bridge and follow track round to scrubby ascent of Hawk, good name, poor hill. On up to Caw.Flatfield13/08/2022

From forestry car park to the south. Hard work through head high foliage. Nice views from the top though.Alan Caine01/08/2020
Boggy tussock summit plateau above trees. Dark but lovely twinkling stars. There's a good path to the bend in the forestry track to the NE-start marked by orienteering post, but only discovered on descent. My 2999th tump.Denise 29/12/2019
The last of an 8 Tump day with Denise, Graham, Selwyn and Ariana. We ascended in darkness steeply up through trees but returned on a good path which joins the forest track at SD2423,9244.RichardM29/12/2019
From small foresty car park (SD 2392 9198), up through woods, lot of dead bracken.jonglew29/11/2019

From forest track to N - easy navigation, but yet more ruff-n-tuff terrain. Descended to the settlement - then tempted by relatively open terrain to the SE, but it led to a very very steep descent through trees, dense ferns and brambles - not recommended.Isbjorn15/10/2019
5/6 Parked just up the minor road towards quarry from Torver. Wide parking space about 300 yards up this narrow road. Walk back down a few yards and through gate on left takes you up to Banks. Then work across to High Pike Haw and skirt above Quarry fencing to get to Lag Bank. Then a bit of rough ground crossed walking South then South East to pick up forest tracks and work round to just North of The Knott. Find a ride up to top of here and come back down, then continue on this forest track to join more major track heading down to pick up path to The Hawk. Used little orienteering trail path (clipper number 4) for 100 yards then hand a left to get up to summit of The Hawk easily. Then back crossing bridge Appletree Worth where deserted properties can be seen, then up on footpath to join forest tracks up to the road and picked up Bracelet Moor on way back to car. 5 hours cos of the rough ground.nickywood102/08/2019

Started with Bracelet Moor, then a walk through from south of The Hawk, over Knott and then onto Lag Bank and Banks before crossing the main road and picking up three remaining Torvor Common Tumps. A great amble with Bryher.jenx10/02/2019

From The Knott from Track to north only a few yards. Some felling on this flank muddy tracks. Great Spot, lovely views. Ancient settlement under top. Camped in forest edge a few yards from top Rib Eye steak cooked on the biolite wood stove lovely!mick17/12/2016
From S, car park, walked up road, easy ascent E to summit, descended S to path and W back to car park. With RickRHW04/12/2016
From Car Park at foot. Up track then steep cut up hill, bracken and knobbly rock tops. Good southern aspect. With RHWnordicstar04/12/2016
Up from east and down west. Still evidence of what must have been a substantial settlement with views southpeebs24/11/2016

As WW directly up brambly hill from 'The Hawk' carpark; better to walk up lane for 150m then ascend. Either way leads to minor top, the summit is above a knoll about 150m away, very wet bracken today.Aye Jimmy05/09/2016
Via south west ridge. Considered descending to the north but looked a nightmare fight through plantation. Pleasant woodland lower down. 35 mins.Wycombe Wanderer02/09/2016
