On my way back from a meeting at Woodhall Services with Jeff. There's a lay by on the busy road to the east. Enter woods by footpath sign. Steep muddy walk up through the trees to the summit. No access problems. Solo.Dangerous Dave12/11/2019

Bagged this one back in the day when working for Abbey Vets on the west edge of Barnsley for 4 months locum. We would walk dogs around here and nearby golf course. A revisit so that Martin could re-complete Barnsley Tumps plus receive some off-piste training to aid his recovery.Dugswell210/12/2016
Told, under false pretences, by Dugswell that there was paved pushchair friendly footpath. Pants on fire.Martin R10/12/2016

1st hill of 5 today starting from Dodworth station, fp alongside railway then over road and on fp that bends round lower slopes But i Climbed directly through trees to the flattish summit. Disappointing to See So much litter But Saw Some fine Fly Agarics spotted on steep descent.Dazingdale08/10/2016
From E, layby and path. Reclaimed spoil heap. Barnsley recompleted.RHW25/09/2016
As GA - steep path to top.Bramley18/09/2016
Used GA's route, a more direct version of JM's. Quite nice on top apart from litter. TuMPs seem to be like Hydra's heads in this part of the world - chop one off and two more appear.Aye Jimmy14/09/2016
Rough layby on lane to E at 316 060. Path leads straight up to the topGordonAdshead05/09/2016
have I beaten AJ? good grief, from Capitol Business park, on footpath at top of park, cross minor road, left to turn right into woods steeply up footpath/stream to open top, grassy area good views to Emley mast.joseph mitchell04/09/2016
Parked under Motorway on Pogwell Lane to the north. Up tarmac path to high point. Over gate on left & through 2 fields to barbed wire fence . Easily over this into flattish summit area. Loads of blackberries & mushrooms on the way up. A reclaimed spoil heap according to a local. Lots of litter unfortunately. Barnsley regained before the hill was announced.ngthack03/09/2016
