From the parking area to the N at the start of the forestry road. Over some wooden fencing and onto trods/ATV ruts to the top of Mountbenger Law. Then NE to a deer fence with another wooden section to aid its climbing, over a new timber extraction road and up an ATV track between new planting to Paddock Slack. Back down to extraction road and W through a gate. Then picked our way down through new plantings to the forest road below and the car.summitter24/11/2023

Parking opposite the John Muir Trust's Glenlude centre, NT313285. The ATV track which starts from the cattle grid 100m SW has an indistinct start. Above the ZOE (Zone of 'Orrible 'Eather) it levels off and veers off L, but multiple An Tx continue up between well spaced tussocks.Isbjorn21/04/2023

Parked in an inshot a few hundred metres SW of the forest track, then straight up the hill on mostly heather and some tussocky ground, to the large summit cairn. The tussocky ground was not too difficult to negotiate on this hill, with lots of spaces where you can see where to put your feet.LizH07/07/2019
