Via footpath to SE with Miranda.Wycombe Wanderer03/08/2019
Parked to the SSE by gate to brick building SE072172. Warning on building says not to enter the compound if you have a pacemaker or new hip because of the high electricity field. I wonder if the electricity field affects us all in some way?David Evans09/06/2019

Parked at radio mast, over a couple of gates and onward to a featureless top in pasture. Fog so could not determine if I was missing a view. Suspect not.Campbell Singer09/01/2018

Parked beside small mast then accessed field via footpath then head for field gate and pasture summit for my Calderdale completion on my return home from Beverley Friary as the rain arrived.Dugswell216/04/2017
Started at f/p sign to SE near masts and aimed for gate on skyline as ngthack. Over gate into flattish field, few small stones placed at vague 'summit'.Aye Jimmy24/03/2017
Parking at the start of the footpath to the SE then diagonally across the field. Also a gate where the adjacent wall reaches the road. You can park in this gate as the distance is only about 100m.moorsman19/02/2017
As others, work was being done on the mast so thought it best to walk up the road to the next gate!the_adam15/02/2017
From ESE, HP in level pasture N of gate is a foot higher than S side of wall, according to hand level. Dusting of snow and a bitter E wind. Calderdale and English 300m summits recompleted.RHW12/02/2017

A revisit, just to check that I had got it right on my several previous visits.Martin R05/01/2017
Parked up on minor road to east and spotted someone ahead in field heading towards summit point. Caught up with him and exchanged pleasanteries - it was ngthack. Walked to the flat summit. Area about 10 metres north west of gate appears to be highest point. Also went to field other side of wall.Alan Caine02/01/2017
Parked at SE 072172 by mast entrance. Across large field of sheep to gate in wall on skyline. Established that slight bump on west side of wall, by gate is highest point. Other side of wall looks higher, but is about 1 m lower. My visit coincided with that of Alan Caine. I suppose the odds of this happening are improved in the early days of new TuMPs appearing.ngthack02/01/2017
1st log for this hill & 1st of two hills on a route from Outlane (Bus from Huddersfield bus station) taking fp through a series of fields and over a minor lane called Marsden Gate into a large open pasture area with the transmission mast and a flock of sheep. I headed direct for the summit. A short-cropped grassy area aa few metres shy of the gate. I got a reading of 351m here and into the next field which is flat for about 20m before it starts to drop. I followed the 'ridge' N and then NE before climbing fence over one field to gain bridleway that profiles around Sowood.Dazingdale27/12/2016
