Logged Descriptions  (logged by 17 users)ByDate of Ascent
From Stainton Tower. Twilight descent to NE then footpath and new forestry track back to road. Lots of obstacles but a decent little walk.Wycombe Wanderer29/11/2019
Very opportune parking place for a single car at the road bend west of Knott End. Even better at the top of this parking area is a bridlegate which luckily gives access to a developing path right up the hillside. If travelling from Latter Barrow follow the wall south until you come to a ladder stile. This gives you access to a clear path through the wood emerging within sight of the summit of Lease Knott.moorsman11/05/2019
Good parking at SD 1308 9770. Circular walk of 3 tops; Raven Crag and Latter Barrow first then across to here. Some brash to contend with but not too bad. Dropping back down to the road on a muddy logging track.jonglew05/04/2019
Went around remaining forest from Latterbarrow the along forest edge. Dreadful swampy tussocky ground. Kept to left of wall for half of decent, then crossed to right through old woodland. Eventually on ghastly forest track. Shame after four other good tops. With a tired Bryher.jenx27/02/2019
Alone up from parking before the farm, used new forestry track. Unholy mess created as ever, cut off to follow wall up the hill and into another cleared area. Stuck to North side of the wall until a gap allowed access to summit tops. Two of them, the southern appeared highest.nordicstar26/02/2019
Within designated open access area. From Stainton Tower - the undulating nature of the tussocky terrain makes it difficult to see where gaps, gates or hurdles facilitate passage through the maze of fragile walls topped with fencing.Isbjorn03/12/2018
Debs and Tali, Garner Bank then along the ridge to Lease Knott picking up the tops.Mountain Goat25/08/2018
From layby on A595 to SW of Ellerbeck (roadworks on lane N). Very soggy in parts but nice summit, strong wind. Passed within 150m of this in 2015 on way from Stainton Tower to Latter Barrow.Aye Jimmy15/02/2018
From W. Good parking on a bend of A595 at SD 1147 9609 where path starts. Combines well with Stainton Tower.jimbloomer07/02/2018
Lease Knott from North East, as per RHW descent route. 10 figure GR: SD 12414 96358ronaldo33303/02/2018
From NW, RoW, up thru wood and cliffs. Easier descent thru felled forest via rough haul road. Slabby rocky HP.RHW31/01/2018
