Logged Descriptions  (logged by 7 users)ByDate of Ascent
From Ardfern, as others. Landing on grassy shore at NM 80982 02837 NW of summit. Keeping to trees made a good ascent route, steeply up onto N ridge which I followed to summit. Last 50m head high bracken but able to avoid anything prickly. 4 mossy rocks next to rose bush make a rough summit cairn.RHW13/07/2019
On trip skippered by Duncan Phillips of Farsain Cruises. Landed without tender. Fairly vicious brambles. Lovely day.Thearlaichdubh12/05/2019

1st Tump on my organised trip with Farsain cruises returning to Craignish Loch a year on, on a long days foray from Craobh Haven, this being 17.7km from the Start. Landing on Northern side just Nnw from the summit at NM807027. No bosun today as Duncan's bosun was stuck in Oban so I jumped ashore to secure the boat then followed the other intrepid Sibbers after Brian E took over. Following in others footsteps is much easier. I recorded 44m @ NM 80911 02693. Nice to get the first one done. Next up, Carsaig Island...Dazingdale12/05/2019
Similar experience, except it was raining. 2k paddle from Ardfern (good shore access at NM 8115 0479), then a difficult bash through dense vegetation - bracken above head height at times, thorn, bramble, thistle, one of the more difficult islands.jonglew22/07/2018
Pleasant paddle from Ardfern but positively unpleasant climb to summit through bracken intertwined with brambles and hawthorn.chalky195328/06/2018
