Easy verge parking close to the start of the bridleway in Great Ryle. Pass through the farmyard onto the open access and bear right heading gently upwards. As you approach the highest point take a smaller path leading directly upwards passing the first top and on to the second (and the true) summit.moorsman30/09/2021

Ingram Bridge car park > Brough Law > Ewe Hill > Cochrane Pike > Chubden > Gibb's Hill > Old Fawdon Hill > West Hill > CP. Clear paths/tracks/cropped grassland all the way.JohnR04/11/2020
A round of the grassy hills south of Ingram. Parked at the free car park at Ingram Bridge. Visited Ewe Hill, Cochrane Pike, Chubden, Old Fawdon Hill, Gibb's Hill and West Hill. 13.4km with 650m ascent in 3h30m. (S)silveracorn_alan24/10/2020
From Wether Hill along track, then RoW's to gate at col between Chubden and Old Fawdon Hill. Easy ascent on grass tracks from there. KeithByTheC17/07/2020
With Cochrane Pike and Ewe Hill both easy and very pleasant walking from verge parking at start of BW to SW near Great Ryle. The crossing of the col between Cochrane Pike and Chubden was difficult due to 8' tall bracken - will be much easier in winter. There are good sheep trods thru' but difficult to see without stumbling upon them - quite an adventure. Once thru' col, pleasant sheep pasture with very obvious atv.carole engel04/08/2019
Round of four from Great Ryle. Twin grassy tops on this oneColin Crawford25/03/2019
F/path from farm to south, track to col on R then up the hill. Two summits, SE one has cairn, NW one no feature. Not sure which is higher. Then off to Kyloe for possible new TuMP mentioned in 'changes'.Aye Jimmy25/01/2019
Northumberland rerecompleted. From SE, pleasant night ascent with diffuse moonlight thru heavy cloud. Small rough cairn on low knoll/tumulus in pasture. Included lower W and E tops. En route to East Lothian.RHW18/01/2019
Originally my route was towards Gibb's Hill ignoring Chubden as that wasn't on any of my lists, but it looked a good walk up with a fine view point, especially of the old settlement. I must admit I was puzzled then why it wasn't on any list as there was good height separation.Jhimmy28/12/2017
Visited this tump en route to Old Fawdon Hill thinking it must be very close to P30. Submitted to DoBIH in 2015 but not accepted owing to lack of definitive mapping proof. LIDAR has now confirmed my hunch.Crib Goch24/12/2015
