Parked on the track on the north side of the A27, south of the Round Table junction. Followed the path from there (shown on the OS 50k) straight to the summit. The transmitter shown on the map wasn't visible. No views on top, returned the same way, 38mins later.chillyman829/10/2022

Another day of storm force gales out on IoM. The return back to the car had us charging right into a head-on fearsome wind, so this was quite a bit of an ordeal, but still another well worthy top to have got bagged.Alex C08/12/2021
Parked at NW end of Bayr ny Skeddan. Good mapped track to summit.jonglew08/12/2021

Quick there-and-back from Round Table. Sunny day with good visibility but cold wind. Saw a few other people.Jonnyiom01/12/2019
Parked on track just off road and followed well-defined easy path to trig and summit cairn. Great views from top even on this full cloud day, luckily for us it was high cloud and it wasn't even bothering Snaefell. The views stretched from the Mourne Mountains to the Lake District to Snowdonia. Afterwards drove to and did a 9.7 mile walk taking in Bradda Hill, Lhiattee Ny Beinne and Cronk Ny Arrey Laa and later on bagged Mull Hill and Cronk Ny Arrey.DanTrig22/10/2019

A good circular walk along the valley from Glen Maye, up over the tops and back on the coast path. With B and R.jenx13/08/2019
Sufficient parking at the path access where the bridleway meets the road. Excellent clear day, so saw the supposed seven kingdoms. Wales : Holy Island, Anglesey, Snowdonia all clearly visible. Northern Ireland : Mournes and other areas visible. Scotland : Mull of Galloway, Galloway hills, and I think Criffel visible. England : clear views of the Lake District skyline and the large offshore windfarms. Couldn't see Blackpool Tower though.Owen B19/06/2019

4th tump of 7 on a 32.2km traverse from Peel to Port Erin, 1st exploring Peel Castle then climbing Corrins Hill, Raby Moar Hill and Dalby Mountain via Glen Maye, descending through Glen Rushen and the Round Table plantation to reach the A36 where i headed directly for the summit through the heather, now emerging into flower. Fantastic views from the top with a 360deg panorama. I recorded 488m @ SC 25773 75923. Descent via path to the A27 then another parallel with the A36, heading for Cronk Ny Arrey Laa..Dazingdale17/07/2018

Slowed down by a cold, so I did this and Cronk ny Arrey Laa(qv) as separate walks, rather than do them together using the Su bus from Round Table to Bradda. Like most, from Bayr na Skeddan- parking on 'green' road, good path to summit for views, remains of fort on E side. There's a trodden path heading E, but I returned same way.pwheeler15/06/2017

Parked at the gate to the East, approximately a mile away and started our steady ascent. Reasonable well defined path, with soggy sections due to recent rain. Once at the summit, great views, perimeter wall of the ancient hill fort and white trig point.dreeder7518/07/2015

Ticked after Cronk ny Arrey Laa on the coastal path. No luck with a view. Camped in the woods at the top of Bayr ny Skeddan but had to make the tea out of bog water. Luckily no after effects suffered.mindlessflogger02/08/2014

Wow, first time Isle of Man. Mountain roads all closed by deep drifts. Slow up A27 from Dalby. Just made round table in drifts. Parked in snow bay and steady up hill to summit in sunshine. Return same route and onward to Ronague and Port Erin.nordicstar30/03/2013
