Parked in Burnham Deepdale across from petrol station. Passed over marsh after visiting scoltThe-Z-Man10/03/2020
Paddled from Brancaster Staithe (Activity Centre), parking on shingle beach commencing around HW. Moderate N wind and grey skies. Peaceful and attractive going west on along south side of Scolt Head. Landed on N side of Ramsey salt marsh and wandered across salt marsh, jumping channels to find indistinctive HP on sandy vegetated bank. Returned via Scolt Head.Denise 21/10/2019
From the 'beach' car park at Brancaster Staithe. 4km paddle which we do in just over an hour to land on N shore of Little Ramsey. Firm salt marsh with WSW-ENE low essentially level ridge of sand/gravel on N side. Rough grass and shrubby sea blite vegetation as well as the usual salt marsh plants.RichardM21/10/2019

Kayak from Burnham Overy Staithe. Paddled NW to TF 8354 4518, a high or rising tide is needed to gain this point, then some portage to pick up Trowland Creek to continue paddling west to approx TF 8289 4540, whence short walk to a low but fairly definite high point.... others may be available. The return avoided the portage by a slightly longer paddling route across a flooded Overy Cockle Strand.jonglew19/10/2019
From SE, Burnham Overy Staithe, started 2h before high tide (close to neap), approx beeline propelled along narrow creek by rising tide, easily dragged kayaks north to channel, paddled west then short walk to summit, low shrubby knoll at TF 82828 45467 in saltmarsh. Back by longer route E then SSW. A little breezy but easy paddle.RHW19/10/2019
Walked from Burnham Deepdale, a couple of hours before LW. Approached circuitously from the NW trying to find sand rather than mud. Walked east along a slight ridge of drier vegetation; summit could have been anywhere along here. Crossed back south to rejoin the coast path at approx 826451 where the channel was relatively dry and shallow.AndyS02/10/2019
