Parking just before rly bridge (SD 1907 7107). Steep grassy track leads off N (SD 1894 7105) opp asphalt track leading S.jonglew07/12/2019
Parking and approach as jb, mae and ns. Surprisingly good addition to the lists, much better than its name might suggest!Aye Jimmy06/12/2019
Via path from A590. Good example of something man-made actually improving the landscape. Had a good wander round, including to the cliff-edge west top. Examined the geology closely and find it extraordinary that it's not natural as it is solid rock with twisted strata, just like the real thing. Chatted with a local who told me that it would still have been red hot when unloaded (by hand! from trains) which probably explains it.Wycombe Wanderer04/12/2019
From E, Ormsgill Lane, at night, nice spot. Cumbria recompleted for the umpteenth time !RHW01/12/2019
Simple ascent on well trodden grassy line shortly after going under bridge. Dedicated parking on Ormsgill Lane.mae21/11/2019
Good parking and access from SD 1913 7110jimbloomer21/11/2019
