Back up Snowdon as part of the national three peaks. After disappointment on getting to Scafell on time thanks to a rather nasty accident ahead of us on a small Scottish road (which took four helicopters and closed the road for 2 hours) it was more like 2 and 3/4 peaks (hired drivers need statutory breaks which you have to be back for). But the view of Snowdon in the sunrise brightened our spirits and we had a lovely last walk of the trip. Up Pyg and down Miners which I haven't been on for years and was nice for a re-visit. Not a drop of rain all weekend!MysteriousSue03/08/2019
From base camp up the Ranger path in good weather, very busy at the top but superb all round views. Descent via Rydd Ddu path to the pub in lovely sunshine. Heavens opened ten mins after getting to pub, so excellent timing there.Stuzinho03/08/2019

Round of Yr Aran, Snowdon and Y Lliwedd from Bethania CP. South ridge. Cloud on west side did not clear in time but nice views to east. Not much room on summit among the crowd that had ascended by train. Back down south ridge to about 1020m then ontO Watkin path, improved at first then steep stony and slippery descent to YL col.Topographer5701/08/2019

Snowdon via Crib Goch and Crib y Ddsgl for the first time. Excellent route with cracking views. Clear for Crib Goch but cloud rolled in with rain and wind by the time we got to Snowdon. Descent via Pyg Track and then drove south to do Cadair Idris in the afternoon.MysteriousSue21/07/2019
Climbed via the Llanberis path, but detoured off the main track after gate and before half-way station to follow the ridge line to the left up to the summit of Llechog first - really enjoyable deviation of the Llanberis path. Down by following the main path.Cap_Thunderbolt21/07/2019

Peak number 3. firstly, Beth driving from the lakes, me, chris and Nathan passed out straight away to wake up to Beth ans Marcus being the best of friends! (and delerius). Changed over to Chris, who only lasted an hour, and blessed Marcus with the final drive. As predicted, we were unable to park at Pen-Y-Pass, and had to drive back to Nant Peris, park, and get a shuttle. We went up and down the Pyg track, leg very sore now, took a while to get going. The peak being the most technical of the 3 with scrambles and slabs, complicated by the hundreds of people wishing to climb wales' highest mountain. Again, the weather became terrible on top, but we scrambled on and past many. Chirs predictably did a spectacular gollum impression, and once we met the train track, the queues were silly. We decided not to wait in the queue for the top, but instead have a photo under it (but also sneak up to touch the trig, because you gotta touch the trig, before decided to get out of there and head down foByronHaywood06/07/2019

First ascent of Mount Snowdon, nice weather to start with, walked the Rangers path, cloudy and very windy at summit, café wasn't open at the time. Main path very good condition, they are in progress of repairing it. Superb views once cloud cover cleared.giant_hiker03/06/2019

Weekend in Wales with my walking buddies to complete the Three Peaks. Could not believe how busy it was with people. Snowdon was fun to climb and quirky with the train and visitor centre at the top. Descent was difficult on the feet but overall a very pleasant experience.Thomas McIlvaney25/05/2019

8th ascent. Aged P’s 80th birthday outing. Up and down path from Rhyd-ddu. Snow above about 2000 feet and an icy wind from the NE. Nice walk along Bwlch Main. Also with M and X. Bank holiday weekend and so an absolute log jam at the top. Aged P had a couple of falls on the way down and was clearly exhausted but kept going without fuss.Herbert Anchovy04/05/2019

2/3 of ascent along Pyg Track but had to call it off as snow too thick. Weather was gloriously hot, 16 degrees, despite snow earlier in the week, which led to some amazing scenery. Summit in cloud at first but visible later. Walk made with dad and dog.MysteriousSue07/04/2019
