Very cold and wet. Snow and ice at the summit but a great achievementLisa17/12/2017
Climbed up the Pyg Track. Too misty & windy to do anything other than Snowdon really.DanMaisieBex04/11/2017
My 7th walking ascent of Snowdon I think, plus one on the train. With Ron O's charity group. Taxi to Pen-y-Pass, Miners' Track, Llanberis path back to base. Could base about 700m on ascent, drizzly, NW breeze, much stronger when we got to the summit ridge. On descent, nasty NW wind in the face, rain all the way, cloud base about 450m. Not nice. Previous ascents were 1. 1988 with AJ and TR; Miners up, Crib Goch down. 2. early 1990s Bwlch Main up, Watkin path down with AJ. 3. Mid 1990s with AJ and NS horseshoe anti-clockwise (Crib Goch up). 4. 2005 with IMcP and LR and AP Watkin path up, unexpected snow and some ice on the Lliwedd col and higher up, not properly equipped, foolishly carried on, decided safest way off was to walk down the railway. 5. 2005 as part of unofficial 4 peaks trip, Pyg up and down. 6. 27/12/2016 strangely mild weather, with WF Miners up, Pyg down.Owen B07/10/2017
Out via South ridge and back by Rhyd Ddu with Delva. Top in the clouds but broke briefly to get some decent views before descending. Looking back half way down summit completely clearNeilb29/09/2017
'Climb Mountain' on bucket list because I am terrified of heights. Solo Snowdon Ranger ascent, reached the Trig, Llanberis Path descent and then tracked back on low footpath from Llanberis to re-join Ranger path. Hoping that future Trigs are not on exposed pointy bits because that was 'vertigo central' for me - but I made it !!Mickeyfinn18/09/2017

Whilst staying at H F Guest House, Craflwyn Hall, near Beddgelert. Solo. I took the bus from the start of the drive to Craflwyn Hall up to Pen-y-Pass. I had thought of going over Crib Goch but had decided against because rocks were still damp after rain. It was also very windy. There were a lot of people at Pen-y-Pass and a large number were going up Snowdon. I left Pen-y- going up the Pyg Track along with many others. After reaching the summit of Snowdon I continued to Yr Aran and Craig Wen, descending to Craflwyn Hall.pwbellarby13/05/2017
