Y Garn, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. First day of good weather for 2 or 3 weeks, a lot of walkers out. Even hotter day than forecast, ended up with sunburn. Ended day in the Vaynol Arms again, which is highly recommended.Lazylizzie17/07/2016

A day on Tryfan with Dave (assisted in parts by Luke). Parked on the A5 near Milestone Buttress. Dull cool day, summits intermittently in cloud. Followed North Ridge to summit of Tryfan. Avoided Bristly for easier route to Glyder Fach. Then to Glyder Fawr before descending via Devil's Kitchen and Llyn Idwal.Skip23/05/2016

Bit of chilly start at Ogwen Cottage. From there up to the east of Llyn Bochlwyd, up to Bristly Ridge, scramble up the ridge, then along to Glyder Fach onto Glyder Fawr. Descent from there to Llyn y Cwn, heading back to Ogwen Cottage via Llyn Idwal. Clear, bright, hot sunny day along the top with views all the way across Anglesey.GaryG12/10/2014

7th summit of the day on an epic adventure from CApel Curig to the Pen-Y-Gwyrd hotel, taking the ridge rising to Gallt Yr Ogof then Y Foel Goch, Tryvan Far South peak, Tryvan, up Bristly ridge, Glyder Fach, Castell Y Gwynt and eventually to this summit. As the mist was rolling in, I could not see more than 40 metres so had to climb each different rock pile. I climbed about four different ones and several twice to make sure. I got disorientated after visiting them and followed the cairns out in the wrong direction ending back up at Glyder Fach. Doh!!. Trust yr compass. Retraced and took correct route from Glyder Fawr down the scree slope to then ascend Y Garn, back up the ridge and tracked over to the hotel via Moel Berfydd. Exhausting but satisfying day!!Dazingdale07/07/2014
What an unpleasant slog up from Llyn c Cwn. loose scree, steep and hard going. Took it steady and cracked it, sixth 3000 of the day.fnem05/07/2014

From car park on the shore of Llyn Ogwen scrambled up the challenging north face of Tryfan to pop out between the Adam and Eve stones. Tricky navigation on the top of Glyder Fach when the cloud descended then proceeded on to Glyder Fawr. Returned with hands as tired as my feet via the Devils Kitchen and around Llyn Idwal. Great day outPhilip A25/05/2014

11 mile walk from Cape Curig, across the wet Cefn-Y-Capel, up to Gallt Yr Ogof and Y Foel Goch then bagged Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr, then turning around walking back to Capel Curig. Clear day with clouds coming down onto summits towards the end.DanTrig14/05/2014

Parked below Tryfan ans went up Heather terrace to the south col. Left Lindsey with the dogs while I went up Tryfan. Fine and warm up till we went on the miners track and headed to Glyder Fach when the cloud came in and by the time we got to the cantilever it was raining. Went up Glyder Fack in hail which made it slippery. Castell y Gwynt was also tricky in the hail. Kept to the top of the crags looking down to Bochlwyd and Gribin. Wandered on th where nameless Cwm tops out and on to Glyder Fawr. Descent through Devils kitchen to Idwal and back along A5 to the car.axe.stephen24/04/2014
