| 1/5. Caherconree then out to Gear and and back. East to Col and contour round to Baurtregaum NW top. Then Baurtregaum itself then over East top subsidiary to Far NE top. | Solo. From the minor road to the west. From the start of the rough path to Caherconree (promontory fort) where there is limited parking. Followed path, which is marked on the ground with posts but is not marked on the OSi 1:50,000 map. Continued to summit cairn of Caherconree and on to Baurtregaum. Returned same way.
