en route from Carrigvore to Mullaghcleevaun.IanHHill10/10/2018
Car park above Glenmacnass waterfall - Old Military Road - Carrigshouk - Mullaghclauveen E - Mullaghclauveen - Stoney Top - Tonelagee - Tonelagee NE - return. Climbed solo. Good weather, sun and cloud. Some showers around but they missed me. A excellent round through some wild country. The middle section from Mullaghclauveen to Stoney Top had some very challenging terrain with few paths and several km of peat hags. Views extensive. Heart-shaped Lough Ouler below Tonelagee is beautiful. Time 5.5 hours.jamessteel10008/08/2017

This was the wettest, boggiest muckiest trek we have been on so far in Wicklow but by God it was THE most fun. We slipped in the bog on the mud so many times it was hilarious. Loved every second of this hike :)Lizzie Murray21/04/2012
