Logged Descriptions  (logged by 40 users)ByDate of Ascent
Parked on a grass verge by a T junction near Tooreenahone (off the road from Sneem to Moll's Gap) walking West up the road past a farm and up to Beann's south top continuing to Beann's far southwest and Southwest top's before ascending Beann's main summit. On my way to Mullaghanattin I took in Beann's North East top, from the summit of Mullagghattin I accidentally dropped into an area signposted as No man's land and perhaps should have continued on to An Cnoc Riabhach and descended from there.Eight and half mile in Seven and half hours.WAYNE ROWLETT07/09/2023
Parked at the road junction at Tooreennahone after seeing an irate lady waving us away from the house a half mile to the west. There is a 'forbidden ground' sign a half mile to the north so we took the track marked on the map to the east which leads easily, eventually, to the ridge. 2nd for the day after the east top. Parked at road junction before gate at 747 746. Came up via Mullaghanattin E.Top (591m). A fabulous summit on a warm, sunny day. With bolton.Dangerous Dave12/05/2023

First hill on the pocket. Steep pull up - probably nicer to do the slopes to the East and get the sub top.nickywood116/05/2016
Via the southern horseshoe in clear weather. The walk gets interesting once onto the main climb to Mullaghanattin, though the views are good all the way. It's really easy going on this walk, even though everything looks steep from a distance.Gill29/12/2014
