With Rob by bike from Elleric passing house of Red Fox. Long cycle up Glen Crearan. Walked up grassy slopes to bealach on ridge. Rocky ascent over quartzite and broken snow covered ground to summit. Trig point with views over Ardnamurchan and down to Mull. Slow descent down ridge threading through carries. Cycle back was usual madness. A big day. 23 in 1700 m of ascent.david.walker4015/04/2023
Bright day with sunny spells, good views. Cold NE wind, strong in places. Unusually dry underfoot. Ascent fr Elleric in Glen Creran is easy and there is a clear path most of the way.NorfolkPT2101/03/2023
Beinn Fhionnlaidh from Elleric, Glen Creranhummusg06/08/2022
Beinn Fhionnlaidh (Finlay's Hill) from the car park at Elleric. Followed the private road thru Glenure, well signed with way markers. Then up the well-defined track that winds itself all the way up the delectable ridge to the trig at the summit of the Munro (7.5km, 960m ascent, in 2h40m to here), with a grand view to Bidean and the Glen Etive Hills, and also out to sea. Descended steeply down and further along the ridge to bag the East Top. Returned back to Elleric by the outward route. Altogether 18km with 1200m ascent taking 6h30m.silveracorn_alan30/05/2022

Walked cross country - pathless miles - from Ben Sgulaird. It took 5 hours from summit to summit. The final half mile having some surprising scrambling. Outstanding views. Descended the western slopes to Glenure Lodge. Great descent but tortuous ascent route, I would think.Rob Rees23/06/2019
Started at Elleric. Had absolutely all sorts of weather, quite a few snow flurries and it was snowing on top but I just waited 5 minutes and it cleared with fine views of Ben Nevis which had no clouds on it at all.tsharp03/05/2019
