Cefn Cyfarwydd, Creigiau Gleision north top, Cregiau Gleision, Craiglwyn, Craig Wen and Crimpiau. Parked at Llyn Crafnant. Lovely cold, crisp winter's day.alunrees050418/01/2020
Round of Carnedd Llewelyn, Pen yr Helgi Du, Pen Lithrig Wrach and Craigiau Gleision from Gwern Goch Isaf. From 415m bridge, west face up onto 600m ridge, trackless pathless and wet at first but gets better on grass higher up. Pick up path up ridge to rocky summit. From bridge, route back to car was mostly on bank above water channel, marked ROW looked wet and muddy.Topographer5724/08/2019
Circuit from Llyn Crafnantchalky195324/08/2019
From Llyn Crafnant car park. Track along short then up nice path to exit woods. Mistake to follow rough path along forest edge as end in heather thrash to pick up ridge path. Stay with path even though detours away to start. Fine viewsN.Morters07/04/2019
Tumps and Nuttalls from Capel Curig. Y Pincin then along the Nant y Geualt to Crimpiau and along the ridge line to take in Craig Wen, Craiglwyn and Creigiau Gleision. Missed out North Top on this trip.knarf26/03/2019

Cefn Cyfarwydd, Creigiau Gleision north top, Creigiau Gleison, Craiglwyn, Craig Wen and Crimpiau. From Llyn Crafnant.Alunrees3309/07/2017
12 mile walk from Capel Curig starting in sunshine, followed road then up boggy path to water channel, followed water channel to foot of Y Braich ridge and climbed to Pen Yr Helgi Du, the weather was still good by this time but the Glyders went into cloud, descended and steeply ascended onto Pen Llithrig Y Wrach, descended to end of reservoir and ascended pathless slopes onto Creigiau Gleison, by this time the weather had took a turn for the worst, we nearly went into cloud. Followed rough path onto Craiglwyn, then climbed up Craig Wen and Crimpiau, by this time every hill we had done earlier went into cloud, descended to Capel Curig. Great but strenuous walk, if we had started an hour later all the walk would have probably been in cloud!DanTrig09/04/2017

Started Tal-y-Braich track end. Up to and along leat. Bogfest of a rough slog to Bwlch y Tri Marchog, lovely firmness to Pen Llithrig y Wrach. Lost path on way down to reservoir. Over bridge and rough slog up to Creigiau Gleision. Marginally different line on descent found lots of useful trods. Down to Capel Curig. Route and write-up at:
From Capel Curig up and out past Llyn Cowly Rsvr then return over Creigiau Gleision ridge, Craig Wen and Crimpiau before dropping back to Capel Curig.SS31/07/2016

It was quite rough ground from bridge to ridge. Maybe we didn't choose the best line. A good craggy top and good views. Nice knobbly ridge walk back to Capel Curig. Then Pinnacle Cafe!jenx29/12/2015

Nuttalls walk 1.4 with Lindsay and Steve. Fine sunny but hazy day. We found this walk tough going, rough underfoot in places - 11.2 miles and 4200ft of ascent - seemed more!Crib Goch23/04/2015
Nuttalls walk 1.4 with Martin, Steve, Brian and Frank. Lovely weather, hard terrain in places.Lou23/04/2015
Dilyn llwybr o Capel Curig a geir gan Dafydd Andrews yn ei lyfr 'Cant Cymru' - ond gan ddringo *pob un* copa ar y ffordd, gan gynnwys Craiglwyn sydd ar y rhestr Nuttalls ond ddim yn un o 100 Cymru. Es i hefyd ymlaen i gopa gogleddol Creigiau Gleision - sydd yn cael ei gyfri yn gopa gwahanol yn y rhestr Nuttalls. I followed Dafydd Andrews' route in 'The Welsh 100' from Capel Curig - but deviating to climb every summit on the way, including Craiglwyn, whish is on the Nuttall list but not the Welsh 100. Also bagged the Creigiau Gleision 'north top' just because it happened to be close by, not knowing at the time it was a Nuttall!Dewi Prysor08/04/2015

Solo walk on CUHWC Vacation Trip to Cwm Dyli. Nr Capel - Craig Wen - Creigiau Gleision ridge - dam - Pen Llithrig y Wrach - back. The Creigiau Gleision Nuttalls are fantastic. Weather deteriorated on Pen Llithrig.AGWilliamson13/03/2015
boggy and windy but great views on a clear dayAristotle Chip02/01/2015
After a zero-visibility stop-off at Craiglwyn, it was nice to see the rocky summit of this emerge as we got to the (wet and boggy) col. It looks quite intimidating but the path is very easy, with a little semi-scramble at the top. The skies to the west cleared as we arrived, revealing Tryfan in its glory. Off to the north top...thesweetcheat09/11/2014

From Capel onto Crimpiau, Craig Wen, Craiglwyn, Creigiau Gleision around Llyn Cowlyd Reservoir back to Capel. With Hamish the spaniel and Phil. Sunny at times. Quite boggy much of the way up and down.Saggers08/06/2014
Following Nuttalls route up to this point. Again no visibility and rain began as I reached the summit. Slipped on a wet rock and broke and cut my finger. Interesting test of navigation skills weaving through the rocks on to the north top in thick cloud.Herbert Anchovy28/05/2014
