Rhinog Fawr, Rhinog Fach, Y Llethr, Crib-y-rhiw, Diffws, Diffws West Top. Followed route in Nuttall's book. Couldn't find anyone at the farm so I left 2 parking fee in the porch. Weather had closed in by the end and it was a long day, made the mistake of following the bridleway at GR634240 on the map instead of getting The Nuttalls book out of my rucksack! Should have turned off at GR 640242 and headed for the gate at GR637246.tsharp07/06/2017

Then Diffwys West Top > Diffwys > Diffwys NE Top > Crib-y-rhiw > Y LLethr. From summit of Y Llethr returned to stile at SH 66047 25556 then followed path mostly beside wall back to col.David Gradwell21/08/2016

Approached by the narrow minor road from Bontdu to the south which ends at natural car park at Banc y Fran. Good path all the way to summit. Very hot. Stupendous views. Probably the best I've ever had in Wales. Needed plenty of liquid.Campbell Singer18/07/2016

13.5 mile circular ridge walk from the car park east of Cors y Gedol Hall, walked up to the grassy dome of Moelfre then along the low ridge to Y Llethr, bagged Crib-y-Rhiw and onto Diffwys, then carried on along to Diffwys West Top, Craig y Grut and out and back to Mynydd Egyrn, followed bridleway back to the car park, a very pleasant walk with great views, good paths and not too much rough terrain.DanTrig26/09/2015

From Dinas Oleu (on a grey squally day) slowly falteringly we find our way onto the spine that leads via Haffotty Mines - Trig - Bwlch Cwmmaria to a distant Diffwys (Not a Marylin but a favourite of mine). We desend buffeted by a strong westerly through veils of cloud to Bwlch-Y-Rhiwgyr - across the fields to Sylfaen then the lane back to Abermawr.briandavies21/06/2015
Following Nuttalls route plus Moelfre.rhalstead25/05/2015
Low cloud visibility down to 30m rain on and off very strong winds. Parked in Cwm Nantcol near Pont Cerrig. Headed south on path ( not the marked bridle way shown on the OS map which is probably a Friday afternoon mistake) to Llyn Bodlyn up to cairn at 637224. Followed the wall over Diffwys S top, Diffwys, Crib-y-rhiw, Y Lethr and Rhinog Fach. Dropped down to Bwlch Drws-Ardudwy and back to the car. 19 km 1217m of ascent..didn't see a thing so will have to do it again in better weather.axe.stephen03/05/2015

GOOD THING I'D DONE RHINOG FAWR SEPARATELY AS THE REST OF NUTTALLS WALK 9.1 WAS EXHAUSTING. WENT UP TO THE BWLCH FROM CWM NANTCOL AND UP CLEAR BUT VERY STEEP PATH ONTO RHINLG FACH. STEEP DESCENT AND RE-ASCENT ONTO Y LLETHR, THEN EASY WALKING OVER CRIB-Y-RHYW, DIFFWYS AND DIFFWYS W. TOP. DOWN FAIRLY EASILY TO THE DAM AND BACK OVER LOW COL TO CWM NANTCOL. FETCHED CAR FOR JOYCE WHO DECIDED SHE'D HAD ENOUGH SO WOULD PROVIDE TRANSPORT FOR NEXT DAY ON THE NANTLLE RIDGE.BURGESS19/08/2013

Its well worth climbing over the ladder style to the trig point - the views down into the valley are stunning and set off the trig point very well indeed. Of the four tops in this southern end of the ridge this is the best one.Father Ted01/07/2012
