From Craiggdu-Isfahan walked south to exit forest at 680728 then followed wall on it's south side ##Warning- all the ladder stiles are rotten and close to failure and there's a fence on top of the stone wall##- descended north on a good but steep path.Fabioski09/10/2016

Hit as part of a route from Trawsfynydd to Llanelltyd over Moel Ysgyfarnogo, Rhing Fawr, Rhing Fach, Y Llethyr, Diffwys and Y Garn. Two days, wild camped on east shore of Llyn Hywelandrew.morel28/07/2016

Climbed after a wildcamp with Smivvy and Tom.zaul_uk30/04/2016
From Cwm Nantcol, up to Bwlch Drws-Ardudwy (Cairn at top of pass), then S up extremely steep but OK small path through thick heather. (Finding this narrow path is essential, easily seen from the cairn, but nowhere else. Followed tracks of a wild mountain goat, so this is the only way!!) Continuing clear path swings around to ascend N Top from NE. Clear path on summit ridge to true summit at S end. Descent by the S side of the wall on a safe zig zag path through scree to a ladder stile. Then a quite exposed, but safe descent around crags and scree above Llyn Hywel. (I think this was on the W side of the wall that goes S? Whilst scenic in the extreme, there may be an easier path on the E side of wall?) Drop down a rock and scree free patch to lake shore, then over big boulder scree on E side of lake (easier than it looks). Return NNW on paths through thick heather just W of Llyn Cwmhosen to rejoin Bwlch path at SW most stile. Marshy in places on Bwlch path requires careful footwork.Nick Caunt15/08/2015

Low cloud visibility down to 30m rain on and off very strong winds. Parked in Cwm Nantcol near Pont Cerrig. Headed south on path ( not the marked bridle way shown on the OS map which is probably a Friday afternoon mistake) to Llyn Bodlyn up to cairn at 637224. Followed the wall over Diffwys S top, Diffwys, Crib-y-rhiw, Y Lethr and Rhinog Fach. Dropped down to Bwlch Drws-Ardudwy and back to the car. 19 km 1217m of ascent..didn't see a thing so will have to do it again in better weather.axe.stephen03/05/2015

From Cae Gwyn campsite, mostly on forest tracks until Bwlch Drws Ardudwy. Couldn'f find the path up so initially heavy-going through heather until came across the small path two thirds of the way up. Fantastic views on the top and coming down by Llyn Hywel and Llyn y Bi. Then headed to the disused quarry and poor paths across boggy ground to intersect with better path running north from Cefn- Cam. Hard-going underfoot.Saggers24/08/2013
GOOD THING I'D DONE RHINOG FAWR SEPARATELY AS THE REST OF NUTTALLS WALK 9.1 WAS EXHAUSTING. WENT UP TO THE BWLCH FROM CWM NANTCOL AND UP CLEAR BUT VERY STEEP PATH ONTO RHINLG FACH. STEEP DESCENT AND RE-ASCENT ONTO Y LLETHR, THEN EASY WALKING OVER CRIB-Y-RHYW, DIFFWYS AND DIFFWYS W. TOP. DOWN FAIRLY EASILY TO THE DAM AND BACK OVER LOW COL TO CWM NANTCOL. FETCHED CAR FOR JOYCE WHO DECIDED SHE'D HAD ENOUGH SO WOULD PROVIDE TRANSPORT FOR NEXT DAY ON THE NANTLLE RIDGE.BURGESS19/08/2013
