Nice bit of terra firma for a change. Feeling tired after the unplanned addition of Rhobell Fawr to the day's itinerary and light fading so decided to be sensible and not go on to Moel yr Wden. Then suddenly changed my mind and ran north.Wycombe Wanderer08/10/2023
Solo. Easily from pass, via Foel Boeth. Scrambled up summit mini crag. Met Wyn Williams Dewey bagging on descent and chatted about rock climbing.Nick Canute04/06/2023
Final Nuttall of the daycolinfielding08/10/2022
From the summit of the road pass (Grid Ref 783 333) with its 531m elevation. A revisit to the ridge of Foel Boeth, Gallt y Daren, Moel Yr Wden (Bwlch y Bi), and Moel y Slates. Main reason was to bag Moel yr Wden as a Dewey, as just visited it in passing when on the Nuttall walk 13.2 in 2016. 7.6km there and back, with only 270m ascent, taking 2h 20m.silverwolf_alan08/08/2022
3.5 mile out-and-back from the top of the pass. Followed fence all the way to summit. Not bad once over the first bit of bog. Nice little outcrop on top. We retraced our steps to the pass and followed ATV track all the way to Moel Y Feidiog's featureless summit. Good views on a overcast day. 187m ascent. Earlier that day we bagged Rhinog Fawr and Moel Oernant.DanTrig26/04/2022
Nice walk down from the previous mountain. Not looking forward to the walk back, no clear paths and would advise to complete these mountains in the summer / spring months when there has been along dry spell.Buckleymon25/02/2022
Tacked on to end of the day after another summit. Straight up slightly west of north from cattle grid initially using fence as a guide. Windy but otherwise OK. Note if approaching from the east on the road there are four gates onn the road. A bit of a pain if you are by yourself as each gate means getting out of and back into the car twice - eight times in total.dickscroop04/01/2022

Walked route 6.1 from the Nuttall's book but in reverse order as it was wet wet wet in the morning and I was hoping the clouds might clear by the time I got to Arenig Fawr (didn't really work). Pretty wet underground. Gallt y Daren, Foel Boeth, Moel Llyfnant and the 3 Arenig Fawr tops. Walked past South Ridge Top and had to go back (rookie mistake).tsharp09/09/2018
