Followed the route in the book. The scramble was fun and not to difficult. We went a bit more north to pick up a better path back from the stone circle to the startAristotle Chip26/05/2019

From Cefn Clawdd climbed both Foel Penalau and Moel Ysgyfarnogod on the northern Rhinogs. Cloudy but clear summits.knarf02/03/2017
Continuation of walk from Moel y Gyrafolen. Headed west over Diffwys, then steeply up on a path weaving through the crags to the summit. Proceeded to visit the south top. Walk continued to Moel Ysgyfarnogod. Solo.Man of Kernow118/09/2016
Walking between Cnicht + Allt Fawr yesterday I was thinking it was a dead ringer for the Lakes. Driving up the lane at 9.30 today, cloud clearing off the Rhinogs, their east faces gleaming in the morning sun, I wondered if there's anywhere more like the northern highlands. Took route 1 to the bwlch and scrambled to the summit. On to M Y trig.Wycombe Wanderer17/09/2016

With G. Nuttalls' route from end of road E of Eisingrug > Moel Ysgyfarnogod > Foel Penolau > start.RT197024/04/2014
From minor road below Ffridd Lwyd forest a round of Clip, Craig Ddrwg, Corn-y-stwc, Moel Ysgyfarnogod ST, Moel Ysgyfarnogod, Foel Penolau and Moel y Gyrafolen.rhalstead18/03/2014
Parked on roadside to east (south of Ffridd Lwyd forest. Squelchy approach to pass. Easy ascent of Clip and Craig Ddrwg. Then nightmare navigating in dense cloud and constant rain. Corn-y-stwc, Moel Ysgyfarnogod south top, Moel Ysgyfarnogod, Foel Penolau (both tops) then time and weather demanded descent without continuing to Moel y Gyrafolen. Easy but squelchy descent from gate in wall just norht east of Foel Penolau.ijpowell04/10/2013
Made tough work of this by taking direct route from Moel Ysgyfarnogod. Descended by a much easier route.garyhoney28/08/2013
Third and final peak. Walked back down and found another Manganese mine at 3:30pm at the time of George Hall's funeral. Brewed up and remembered George.skeletonjo25/07/2013
