Started from nice grassy parking area at GR612253. Tried to follow the route logged by others which used ladder stiles, but started up wrong track, though picked it up later. Steep, but good route to top. Descent following wall WSW from near the summit, then track and FP back to start.IanHHill01/09/2023
Parked just after the cattle grid, before the farm 632258. Farmer asks for a minimum £3 donation to air ambulance. Tarmac track to Graig Isa, then follow track then ATV track (marked on 1:25k map). ATV track goes all the way to the summit. Down to corner and along to pick up nuttall of Crib y Rhiw. Back to corner then follow fence mostly on ATV tracks all the way to Moelfre. Back down to col then through gate and ATV track (again marked on 1:25k, not the bridletrack marked on 1:50k which didn't seem to exist). Hot day out, got back just before the thunder. 8.3 miles 2600ft of ascent.JulieB12/06/2023

Descended on a clear path over the NW top which continued down the slopes to the NW finishing at the viewpoint where we started. Ladder stiles at all wall crossings.Moorponder13/10/2022
Car Park at Cors y Gedol accessed from Dyffryn Ardudwy. Did a clockwise loop with as much road as possible. First part before the roads was a bit boggy. At due East of mountain we headed straight for the summit, following a dry-stone wall. Descent was due south holding on to the west side of the fence iunitl trrack back to start was reached.gbeniston24/09/2022
The first of 8 tops on a breathtaking but exhausting 16.5 mile trek from Dyffryn Ardudwy to Barmouth via Moelfre, Y Llethr, Diffwys and the southern Rhinogydd ridge. After leaving Dyffryn via visits to the chambered tombs in the village and at Cors y Gedol, followed the bridleway until it reached the access land gate, then pretty much straight up to the top via the enclosures and a bit of zig-zagging to stop myself keeling over. Delighted to reach the top. The Bronze Age cairn is excellent and the views terrific in every direction. Carried on along the wall to the east to descend, then on to Y Llethr.thesweetcheat13/09/2022
Parked to north near start of BW. Getting there was a pain on my own as there were 6 gates to open and close. South along BW to ridge, through gate and up south side of wall to stile near summit leading to cairn. Good views from top.PeterD17/08/2022

Parked in the small car park at top of Fford Gors in Llanddwywe and walked up the good track to where the path drops down to Pont Scethin. Carried on towards the reservoir until almost where the PROW coming up from Pont Scethin and crosses the track. Turned left here and climbed up to the wall that runs W to E. No path on the ground. Followed wall on S side to a ladder over the wall close to the summit. Over wall to summit and back to ladder. Over ladder and followed the wall down to a track. Followed track towards Tal y ffynonau. Turned left on PROW towards Tal y ffynonau. Good walking to Tal y ffynonau. Rest of way is for sado masochists. Mostly waist deep grass etc with many rocks on the ground whichever way you go. Some gorse and some bracken. Some marker poles to show the way through fences. Wouldn't recommend this as a way back to the car park at all.MikeM10/08/2016

After Y Llethr our second marilyn of the day - steep climb of Moelfre - vast amount of loose surface rock - surely and old hill fort? - but nothing on the OS - Amazing 360 dgree panorama from the top as the clearing cold blue skies from the coast push the clouds inland.briandavies22/06/2015
