Solo walk. Start/finish in Tyn-y-Ffridd. Climbed Mynydd Tarw, Foel Wen, Tomle, Cadair Berwyn (both tops), Moel Sych, Moel yr Ewig and Godor ... basically Nuttall route minus Cadair Bronwen. 5 hours. Weather horrendous at times ... squally showers, gales, cold, but sunny spells in afternoon. A good walk; few paths and boggy in places but the escarpment of the main ridge is impressive, especially view of Llyn Lluncaws. Cadair Berwyn is really a forgotten mountain of Wales, despite its height ... saw nobody all day!jamessteel10022/12/2016

Start ~ 076293, Pistell Rhaeadr. Took the valley North towards Llyn Lluncaws, before bearing right up on to the ridge below Moel yr Ewig picking up a faint path we followed it SE to Godor N Top & Godor. Retracing North we passed over Moel yr Ewig before a steep pull up to the main Berwyn Ridge and the summits of Cadair Berwyn and its North Top. Headed then SW and over Moel Sych before dropping down to view Pistell Rhaeadr from the top and a well earned cup of tea at the cafe. With RRWC.steve hudson20/01/2003

Start ~ Pistyll Rhaeadr. Climbed Moel Sych from Cwm Rhiwiau and on to the South Ridge. Continued to Cadair Berwyn and the New Top and then to Cadair Bronwen. Conditions not good with lots of snow and a strong wind. With Johnny D & Mick Robins.steve hudson18/02/1995
On a magnificent day with snow lying above 1300 ft: Tyn-y-ffridd- Mynydd Tarw- Foel Wen- Tomle- Cadair Bronwen- Cadair Berwyn- Moel Sych- Godor - Tyn-y-ffridd. Rock outcrops on the way up, and 10 cm of snow on the high summits- plenty of rock there, too. A few snow showers the a blizzard coming off Godor, but overall wonderful; the weather in high Snowdonia to the W looked very wild. This side of the Berwyns is lovely and in places exciting.
