10:30, 4 degrees at Tan-y-pistyll (6 later), sunshine and cloud, westerlies. Much more like Snowdonia/Lake District here than over in Cwm Maen Gwynedd. Footpath, then west up the mynyddside at the gate, helped by a very faint path, then hard walking to the fence line near Talfryn. Reasonably easy along the ridge on a faint path. On to Moel yr Ewig. | Wycombe Wanderer | 21/01/2022 |
A round of the Maen Gwynedd valley from parking spot near stream. With B and R. | jenx | 15/12/2020 |
Godor, Godor N top, Moel Poethion, Moel yr Ewig & Moel Sych - Berwynion. Parked at SJ 11869 30633 space on grass by bridge for a few cars. S along road to high point 362m then track W to crest of ridge then along fence lines to summit of Godor & N top. Took a direct line to Moel Poethion, unpleasant, then fence lines to Moel yr Ewig. Followed fence on to summit ridge through steep band, not too bad, then to summit of Moel Sych. Descent via E ridge and over outflow of Llyn Lluncaws then direct line towards Godor N top, tough terrain. Fence lines back to road. Cloud inversion lower down but high summits still in cloud. | jacobrichmond | 06/11/2020 |

4/4. Things got interesting up here. Got dark while I was on top, not a pleasant walk - boggy and a slog. Plopped down the waterfall side looking for paths in the dark.thank for for head torch. Treated myself to a moment alone by the waterfall. To celebrate end of challenging nuttal walk. | tumpawumpa | 11/11/2017 |

Solo. Snow covered. Went for this as it was such a glorious day while getting Nuttals. The hard work as a there and back made it worthwhile. Snow crust constantly breaking while crossing the heather. | Aimless Rambler | 20/01/2016 |

from Moel Y Ewig, following fence past main top of Godor. what to say about this top...?? the views to the main ridge are pretty special. followed fence down to tan y pistyll. very steep. summit is a grassy clump about 10ft from gate. no cairn... not much of a path either. boggy in places. | stig_nest | 04/08/2014 |
A big day for me today. My last 10 Nuttalls (excl. Pillar Rock). Walked with Chris. Parking for 3 cars by the river off the road down from the phone box. Nuttall route plus detour to Moel Poethion. Should have known better than to hope for sunshine on this special day. At least the tops were clear and the showers intermittent. Excellent walk and not demanding. | ijpowell | 01/08/2014 |
My last hill of the day on a long walk from Llandrillo to Llangynog via the Berwyn ridge, North to south, also exploring waterfalls en-route. After this little bump next to the fence i went down steeply to explore some of the waterfalls before following the track to Pistyll Rhaedr. | Dazingdale | 05/05/2014 |
