Short walk from the col with memorial. Continued to Y Drum, passing over prominent bump which almost felt 'tick-worthy'.Aye Jimmy12/05/2018
From a wild camp on Cadair Bronwen en route to Moel Fferna. Very hot weather forecast so made an early start. Tough going though the bogs on the ridge. Had breakfast by the cairn and watched as Snowdon disappeared into a thickening haze.Jake99405/05/2018
Run with Will. Nearly lost a shoe in the slush and bogs. Followed the route in the Nuttals Bookbenwloudon18/12/2017

10 hill circuit based around Cadiar Bronwen. Start and finish on a forestry track not far from Cynwyd. Fantastic, sunny Saturday with hardly anyone on the hills.BobHancock22/04/2017

Parked on forest road at 084,401. North Berwyn Way to Moel Fferna, then along horrendously boggy ridge to bag Cerrig Coediog, Cefn Perfedd and Moel yr Henfaes. Descent on very good track above Nant y Lladron. 8 miles, 1600ft ascent - just under 4 hours.Crib Goch15/04/2016
Ty'n-y-parc to Bwlch Llandrillo pass to Pen Bwlch Llandrillo to Cadair Bronwen. Return to Ty'n-y-parc to complete circuit. Walked solo, time 5 hours. Sunny weather, but hazy. Saw no-one all day except motor-cross riders on Bwlch Llandrillo, despite being a Sunday. Beautiful easy walk in some really wild country. Hard going along the watershed path with bogs, heather (in places) and slushy melting snow obliterating the path. Great day though!jamessteel10013/03/2016
From Cynwyd (River Dee in spate) up forestry track then direct climb to Moel yr Henfraes (Dewey) through rather damp heather. Onwards from there to the Hewitt and lunch at the memorial (sheep cropped slopes treacherous). Took track back to dry to dry feet and legs out. Good views all round.SS27/12/2015

Continuing south from Cerrig Coediog. Skipped Pen y Lladron as didn't look very accesible through the overgrown heather. Route boggy and needs care negotiating even after a period of predominantly dry weather. Excellent views of the larger members of the Berwyns to the South.muzza228/06/2015

Bryn Llus, Pen Creigiau'r Barcut, Cerrig Coediog, Pen y Lladron, Moel yr Henfaes (Nuttall) Y Drm, moel yr Henfaes (Dewey). Good paths and tracks most of the way.ijpowell31/07/2014
Parked behind the pub in Cynwyd. Moel Fferna to Pen Bwlch Llandrillo Top to Cadair Bronwen North-east Top to Cadair Bronwen to Cynwyd. Excellent day, stayed dry and warm with some sun. Saw no other walkers!!axe.stephen26/05/2014
An easy walk along the Fence from Moel Henfaes East top. I found a small figurine of a lamb at the foot of the cairn. It had been painted pink!!. Attractive rocky outcrops. I continued to Y Drum after this. This was my Seventh Hill on a long walk from Llangollen to Llandrillo taking in the hills I miised on the North Berwyn way.Dazingdale04/05/2014
From Cynwyd, a round of Bryn-llus, Pen Creigiau'r Barcut, Moel Ffarna, Cerrig Coediog, Pen y Lladron, Moel yr Henfaes [Pen Bwlch Llandrillo Top], Y Drum and Moel yr Henfaes. A nice horseshoe for this area.rhalstead07/04/2014
Beautiful Berwyns basking in the sunshine! I claim no responsibility for the pink sheep nestling against the cairn but it was fun to see it there. I was less impressed by a recent entry in the logbook on the pass: the language used was more offensive than the litter and 4 wheel drivers it was ranting about! I wonder what became of poor Clare?ruthatlast13/03/2014

With Minnie from Llandrillo up the easy track to the col then onto Moel yr Henfaes then to Cadair Bronwen a good freeze made the going less boggy, a little snow on top, the 3000footers look to have a good covering, sunny & cold. Back to Llandrillo on track across Moel Pearce.apricorum29/11/2012

Up from Cynwyd. Nuttall's 7.1 to Moel yr Henfaes then back to Cynwyd via Moel yr Henfaes making it 3 Deweys for the day.clivevilla01/05/2011
Walk with GF up from Moel Ty Uchaf circle, in very thick mist, driving rain and strong wind. No visibility. From here the walk to Moel Fferna was horrible.thesweetcheat20/02/2011
Long trek from Cadair Berwyn. Not particularly worth it either, though the cache at the Wayfarer's memorial was a bonus.huwthomas24/10/2010

Walked from Moel Fferna following the fence, a long way but easy going especially as it had been dry a few days. Top is marked with a pile of stone on a rock outcrop. We dropped down to the Wayfarer memorial signed the book in the cache and descended backSteveClay18/04/2010
Not real date - no log kept. Pleasant and easy walk from Cynwyd to Pen Bwlch Llandrillo Top, Cadair Bronwen (and north east top)with excellent views then circling down via stone circle to the valley once more.ijpowell10/07/2009
a quiet route looping from and to swlch cae rhiw farm near llanarmon. the outbound route follows the old wayfayrers green lane, at the memorial we then followed fences north and came back via the waterfalls on the infant river ceiriog.stig_nest26/11/2008
Walked from Moel Fferna, a bogtrot. A fairly boring walk, but did see a massive catapillar! Pile of rocks marks the top, and then back to CynwydFwapp03/08/2008
Approached via the green road from the NW with Mary. Cold wind chill with average distance views. Top a pile of rocks on a rocky outcrop as stated by others. From the top of the pass, over stile! by cattle grid then follow fences, over two of them to top.Glenelg05/01/2008
Presumed first visit. Passed over wayfayrers numerous times previous..though maybe not summited before this date.stig_nest05/07/2007
Berwyns Wild camp with Cath richardsun02/06/2007
We met in Llandrillo and walked in light rain up a gentle path over a couple of streams in full spate while watching the Berwyn ridge open out far ahead. Having signed the book at the Wayfarer’s Memorial, two of us climbed to the first summit while the others sheltered. Moel yr Henfaes is unremarkable with just a pile of stones on an outcrop. Moel Fferna was visible to the north as was Cadair Bronwen to the south, but little else could be seen.peter4lc27/10/2006

I walked over fom Moel Fferna which is a pretty boggy walk. This summit is fairly insignificant and appeares to be marked by a pile of stones on top of a rock.Father Ted14/01/2006
