Parked at lakeside car park. Very enjoyable circuit of 5 summits: Pared y Cefn-hir, Bryn Brith, Cefn yr Owen, Bryn y Greggeren and Pen Llynnau Creggeren.PGCE06/02/2021
ascended Pared y cefyn first then dropped off ridge at gully crossing boggy area picking up faint path to ascend summit through deep heather, probably better to return same way i attempted vally between both peaks not so easyjohnowen22/07/2020
Should definitely still be paired hump! Much more vegetated than its neighbour. Totally soaked through by return to car. With B and R.jenx09/03/2020
Pared y Cefn Hir and Bryn Brith from the obvious car park for the lake. It was misty and became rainy so I did not know what I was taking on. I still do not really but both were steep and involved hands - at least they did the way I went but I could not really see to choose a route.clivevilla18/08/2018

Hill #2 on RHW's completion walk - we even managed to uncover an OS bolt on the summit.DanMaisieBex18/02/2018
Direct ascent from SE over heather to small cairn. Bonus buried block with bolt under cairn on south top, similar height. Sunny and clear. Part of RHW final Welsh Tump completion walk, summit 2Denise 18/02/2018
Pared and Brith revisited prior to my last 2 Welsh Mainland tumps. Bonus OS bolt found under cairn on slightly lower W summitRHW18/02/2018
With the RHW Wtc party. Having just joined the TUK site, seeing the bolt was very exciting. Would never have found it on my own.ngthack18/02/2018

From car park. Easy to get the wrong ridge. Summit no paths and lots of heather.destaylor17/03/2011
A rough and rocky area with Bryn Brith and Pared y Cefn hir vying for supremacy. The latter is a stunning hill from Llynnau Cregennan car park.chriswatson06/11/2010

from P y C. Along ridge on WDP to peak at east end.arranc13/07/2001
A beautiful 'Matterhorn shape' and lake. Ran uphill (KIMM training) working hard, nice circuit along ridge linking Pared y Cefn (unaware of its future bagging status at time) and onto the then sub-Marilyn of Bryn Birth. Back to car park below cliffs.Chris Pearson25/09/1999
Date unknown. 1st ascent 1970s, date not recorded. Nice summit, lovely view, outclassed by the Pared. from car pk to SW RHW01/01/1990
