Started at the corner of road/farm track in White Grit. Followed track short distance to walkers gate then up steep grassy path to summit. Good views from the top in all directions and a nice hill to mark my 600th Marilyn.bowlesy29/06/2023
Bagging on way to start at Springtime in Shropshire orienteering event - very efficient. Course went near to summit later.davechaffey28/05/2023
Lan Fawr and Corndon Hill circuit, with Mark & MarkRutheH01/05/2023
From corner of minor road where rough track leads to Mitchell's Fold Stone Circle. South along track to edge of plantation, through gate and straightup to summit. Nice cairn, trig point and chair on top. Descended by following path along top of plantation then down the other side for a bit of variety (this would be a slightly less steep route up). 1.8 miles about 45 mins walking time.JulieB19/10/2022

From corner of minor road where rough track leads to Mitchell's Fold Stone Circle. South along track to edge of plantation, through gate and straightup to summit in ESE direction. KeithByTheC21/03/2022
From reservoir to the North. Easy ascent of Lan Fawr from col then back to col for good path to top of Corndon Hill, a better route than the sreep path by the fence, which I used for a quick descent. 2 miles / 45 mins for both hills. Walked back to Hope via Stapeley Hill.CXB23/10/2021
parked off the road at the sharp bend at White Grit and then followed the track to the pedestrian gate and directly up. Had a wander along the ridge which gave excellent views.Peterb08/10/2021
Very warm day with Stevie n Tay. Climbed steeply after parking at Mitchell's Fold. Walked along the ridge and came back down much more gently. Carried on up Lan Fawr then walked across Mitchell's Fold to Stapeley Hill.Yeltzbagger06/09/2021
6/6 Dewey Day. Corndon Hill from Mitchell's Fold Stone Circle car park to the north, also visited Lan Fawr, the stone circle and Stapley Hill, which proved to be a nice hill at the end of my Dewey collecting day in Shropshire. 7km with 260m ascent in 1h 40m. (S)silveracorn_alan14/08/2021

Beautiful day out in stunning conditions meeting up with some great friends and spending an hour or so painting one of the most amazingly situated pillars you could ever have the privilege to work on.Twice Shy29/08/2020
Very steep ascent, two gates to go through. You can see for miles all the way up so very enjoyable. There is a bench by the trig point if you need to recover! Incredible views.evangelinebarratt25/07/2020
Parked by reservoir to NNE. There is a gate at SO 30184 97114 and a path follows the fence straight up the side, which is quite steep. Red kites and kestrels hunting the slopes. Watched a lightning storm over Long Mynd at the summit! With whole family. 166m ascentRoguePulsar25/07/2020
It was very steep and hard to climb. I had to use the fence so i could climb up. It was very windy at the top.speedyclimber25/07/2020
Do not try to link this with Heath Mynd by using the right of way shown on the OS 1:25 000 map on the east side of the hill. It is a fiction, and the gorse, bracken and other impenetrables are viciousRockdoctor24/07/2020
After Lan Fawr - steep ascent, superb views. Descended to the 'path' shown to the E of the hill, only to find it does not exist. Lots of gorse & brambles to contend with instead!DanMaisieBex23/07/2020
Walked a loop from Stone Circle to include LAN FAWR and CORNDON HILL.. walked up the longer gradual side of Corndon and down the steep side .D SID03/02/2020

One of the 6 Shropshire Summits.MichaelF08/06/2019
Began in the car park of the Mitchell Fold stone circle, the climb up Corndon Hill is steep, but path is in good condition, hiking poles will make the climb and descent easier. Superb views of the surrounding area from the summitgiant_hiker22/04/2019
