From Glen Coe. Bad knee problem meant I abandoned Anoach Eagach and needed an easier option, with Sgorr a'ChoiseJhimmy18/09/2017

From Sgorr a'Choise on a walk from Ballachulish. Before the col, we had a wonderful view of a cloud wreathed Aonach Eagach. Though we had about 4h rain today it was showery with dramatic breaks. Huge slog to Meall Mor then easy back onto forest roads down to a - by the time we got there- deserted visitor centre.pwheeler27/05/2015

Combined with Meall Lighiche from the A82 near Achnacon & Signal Rock with Shaky. A good round & a bit more interesting than just slogging up the steep NE slopes. Used the track beside the Allt na Muidhe & then crossed the river by a bridge underneath the N ridge of the Corbett. Fairly brutal ascent over Creag Bhan to the snowy summit & then continued NW then N to Meall a'Bhuige. Impatient to get to the Clachaig, we ignored Sgorr a'Choise & headed straight for Meall Mor on the grounds that the hill would still be there another day. There again, the same could be said of the Clachaig... Descended the NE slopes of Meall Mor directly to the car. My knees were in good shape before that.NotReallyABagger01/11/2008

Parked on bend by Signal Rock. On access track then steeply up on grassy slopes soon becoming murderous - each step was a foot straight up. 2,250' in less than a mile. To sheep fence to a second fence and the grassy top. 11.45.arranc02/08/2004

Solo. Parked at the layby on the west side of the A82 road at NN116570. I started walking and went more or less straight to the summit of Meall Mr. I returned more or less the same way. There was much long grass. The weather was dry, but it had been raining earlier in the day.pwbellarby03/08/2003
