From CP beside Broch cafe in Strathyre. Obvious path to NN568154, up logging track to NN573179 and good path winding eastwards, cutting the corner on the logging track. New gate through deer fence just short of radio mast and short distance cross-country to Sgiath a Chaise. North along ridge following old fence line (including convenient hole in deer fence) to North Top and Meall nan Oighreag. Gate and collapsed deer fence at NN577198 and back via tracks. Looked for the same 1:25000 track as Pete R but from the top: couldn't find it either, so back down by the track to Coille MacCaskill path and back down to the start.TRG31811/04/2024
3rd of round of four summits from Strathyre. Ground mostly good. Repeated Graham.Topographer5726/02/2024

A shambolic day. But it's a small hill so all was well. I went looking for the 1:25000 track that ''goes up'' from NN566179. It's not on the Harveys map, nor on Google Earth, and Play2end said it's nonexistent. Couldn't find it. Went to Gill's uphill route instead. Just about OK, but a few minutes of clearfell. With hindsight, the Ardchullarie route might have been a lot better.Pete R25/11/2023

From Beinn Each. Followed the path back down to about 700m, then aimed for the col, rather awkward ground in places. Then up the grassy slope to the ridge line where there is a grassy path. Returned to the col point 341 then back to the lay by at Loch Lubnaig along the good track then path.Owen B17/09/2022

With Camber, lovely warm sunny day.Trotticus01/09/2022
Climbed with Yeltzbagger. I wasn’t going to the top after the very rough walk through the wood from the road. But after Yeltzbagger went up and I had a rest I changed my mind and we went back up. Glad I did.Stevie n Tay25/07/2022

I almost took Willy Ross' route...started from the FC car park, over the road, right, then left onto the blue route, very pleasant at the start. Up to the logging road, where I went across the bridge to join the Coille MacCaskill path which emerges onto the main logging road opposite a disused track. Then just keep going up the logging road, which eventually bends round NW and continues N, almost flat, until you see a scruffy overgrown side track to the R, which improves as it zig-zags through the felled area to join the mast track. Then it's a matter of heading up to the wobbly gate, climbing it and strolling to the top. But I took the track before the bend which peters out in a felled area, so ended up hacking up to the correct track through brash and young trees. Got it right on the way back.Gill28/10/2021

Blessed is Willy Ross’ description! We also went up the forest track and paths. About 100 metres before the mast there is a gate. Then about 300 metres to summit. Glorious day, glorious view and dry feet. Definitely an easier approach. With Gmac xelizyanne13/10/2021

Parked in FC car park across A84 road from Immervoulin, then found FC path up through woods, across lowest forest road then up to join upper forest road heading north. At around NN573179 the marked forest road goes all way east in deforested area (see Google earth) to uppermost road not too far from mast. 100m before mast is a climbable gate to moorland and a five-ten minute walk to summit.willyross11/10/2021

Start from the car park off the A84 Grid 560167. Take the track through the forest and up to Sgiath a' Chaise, return South down to the forest edge then head South steep ground no tracks until you hit the main forestry track.smocks and denims24/10/2019
